OFL is an award winning interdisciplinary architecture studio founded in 2009 and led by Francesco Lipari. The studio is focused on emerging design processes working at the intersection of architecture, research and community.
OFL has received several international awards including The Plan Award with the urban park Zighizaghi, the Oscar Green Coldiretti the Maker Faire Europe merits and Architizer People Choice Awards with the interactive garden Sainthorto and the pavilion for insects and humans Wunderbugs.
The studio is currently involved in the construction of the new Santa Barbara parish complex in Licata, the design of a new accessibility for Villa dei Quintili and Villa Sette Bassi in Rome within the Appia Antica archaeological park, the urban regeneration of Viale della Libertà in Bagheria, the construction of a new school complex in Palma di Montechiaro and other small-scale projects.
OFL’s work has been exhibited at MoMA in New York and Wuho Gallery in Los Angeles and published in international publications including Area, Wired, Vice, Frame, Designboom, Archdaily and Concept. The studio has collaborated with international brands such as BMW Kia and Renault.
